Laydeez do Comics

From Elizabeth Daingerfield Zwicky, a link to the Laydeez do Comics site:

From the website: Laydeez

Is a unique graphic novel forum with a focus on comic works
based on life narrative, the drama of the domestic and the everyday.

Launched in July 2009 the group was set up by the illustrator and author of graphic novel Billy, Me & You Nicola Streeten and the artist and curator Sarah Lightman. It is the first women led graphic novel forum in the UK.

The group schedules regular events — coming up soon, San Francisco on 7/21, Toronto on 7/25, Bristol on 8/8, London on 8/13 — with many of them available on podcasts. An alternative to superhero comics.
