On AZBlogX: a piece on male photographer Michael Reh (not actually X-rated) and another set of cattions (male art + a cat + a caption), this time based on the male photography of Reh and of Kristen Bjorn (totally X-rated) and on the homoerotic (but not actually X-rated) drawings of Kino Sekigushi.
As in the two earlier collections, the cattions are variously poetic, funny, slyly queer, and vulgar, often several at once.
On AZBlogX, amended images from male photographers, amended by having captions added and B. Kliban cat stickers as well — hence the portmanteau name cattion (cat + caption), pronounced /kǽtʃǝn/, for the form. Two sets so far: 12 photos from Michael Taubenheim (some of them dick shots), 15 from Benno Thoma (none actually X-rated, but none with much of a linguistic point).

Chris Ambidge sends me lots of photos, most of which I pass on in one or another of my blogs. Most of the images aren’t WordPressable (and most of them have no notable linguistic point), so they go to AZBlogX.
I’m then faced with the task of assembling them into sets for posting.

These collections of pornstars give rise to questions about the roles of race and ethnicity in gay sexual relations, both in real life and in the fantasy porn world of Gayland. A tiny sampling: in the US, Latinos are now officially hot, and use Spanish-sounding porn names (so continue to be “exotic”), while men of European parentage are inclined to assume “whitebread American” names and so to assimilate to the majority culture.

4/25/13: More toys: Adam Killian and Rod Daily in the Lucas film Toy With Me, together enjoying a double-headed dildo. (Looking ahead to the next posting: Daily’s genitals are somewhat lighter in color than the skin on the rest of his body.)
4/25/13: Rafael Alencar: On the handsome Brazilian pornstar Alencar, whose genitals are notably darker in color than the skin on the rest of his body. Some discussion of this phenomenon, with one site offering this circular explanation:
Question: Why is the penis darker in color than the body? [This assumes, incorrectly, that the phenomenon is general.]
Answer: … The technical answer is that the skin of the penis has more of the pigment melanin than other skin.
4/26/13: Anthony, Saint, Stallone: On the TitanMen compilation flick Hung: The Best of David Anthony. Ten men in six scenes, including the wonderfully named Christopher Saint (oh, St. Christopher!) and, oh my, Fabio Stallone. (David Anthony, on the other hand, has one of those porn names that is so averagely masculine that you have trouble remembering it.)
4/26/13: Sex in suits: On the recent Lucas film Undress For Success, with five scenes of men in and out of business suits (in pairs) having their way with one another. Something for students of clothing as display and for students of b and t roles in sexual relationships. Plus a French pornstar with the stage name Will Helm.

First, on “Twinkalicious porn”, X-rated images for a forthcoming posting on this blog on the word twinkalicious (and its variants) — an instance of the libfix -(V)licious.
Then, continuing the twink theme, a posting on “Two twinks” who have come into the gay porn world recently: Johnny Rapid and Hunter Page. Not much about language here, beyond Johnny Rapid’s wonderful name, but another exploration into the construction of identities (twink) and the configuration of (sexual) relationships in Gayland.
Then an account of the gay porn flick Close Up, preparing the way for a forthcoming posting on this blog about the first scene of the film, involving Trenton Ducati and Jessy Ares — in part about the use of language in this encounter and in part about the the assignment of roles — what I’ve called b vs. t — in this encounter.
Finally, “Scruff cum”, on men with scruffy or bearded faces with cum on their faces. An exercise in sexual practices, with no linguistic content I can see.
Following on “Threesomes and more” and “Easter threesomes” on AZBlogX, there’s now “Manpiles”, which starts with images of men sprawled in groups and moves to men posed in groups and then to group sex, including orgies with many many in them — all from gay porn. There’s only a bit of language-related stuff in there, about how to label some of these acts and events.
It turns out that gay orgy porn is astonishingly popular — I suppose because More Is Always Better — and the makers of porn have poured out the stuff. Apparently, in Gayland, whenever three or more men gather, in no time at all they’ve ripped off their clothes and are going at it like crazed weasels in heat: hot-hot man-man-man-man-… sex. (Except that these events progress through a program: manual, then oral, then anal. Gayland has its conventions.)
